Anyone need a stock front bumper of an 80 series? I have one that just had some new paint done less than a year ago.

Located in Hoover, AL -

Taking up space in the garage - No charge if someone can us it.

Matt,

I'll hold onto it until someone needs it here. Just have to make sure the wife doesn't trip over it and set it on the street for trash pick-up!!

Actually; I could use that bumper. How much do you want for it?

Does 50 or so miles from the state line count?
It will be in Alabama for a while then on to GA.

Lost out to Clank........ AGAIN

Tell me I didn't just miss another opportunity on a bumper to Clarence again. If it is first come first serve I can pick it tonight!

Seriously, if clank needs it for the red truck, maybe I could just use it till my new bumper comes in. I am trying to get an IronMan Deluxe for mine but they are on backorder until October. I just feel "NEKID" without something up in front of the grille.

Works for me Brian ...
You were looking pretty naked on Green Springs today.

Frnt Stock 80 Springs

Anyone have a set of old 80 front coils that need a good home? I just bought Casey a '97 4Runner, and am trying to get it lifted on the cheap. I trashed the ones I took off of my 80 cause the were shot after 250k and I never anticipated needing to lift a Runner.

Couldn't have picked a safer ride. Hal has stress tested one, thanks to a drunk illegal in TX flipping him on the interstate 7 years ago.

I have a set of stock 80 front and rear coils I would part with in mt brook. 205- 3 zero 5 - six 0 3 four. Curtis

Thanks for the offers

Thanks to you who have offered up springs for my sons 4Runner buildup. I still don't know if that is going to be the best route for me to go with his lift. I put out a post on the 4Runner page of MUD to try and get some insight as to how much lift comes from using 80 coils in the rear of a gen-3 4Runner, but after over 50 views there has still not been any responses. I am beginning to think 4Runner guys are not as tinker happy as Cruiserheads are. I am trying to keep the lift at 2.5 to 3" in order to stay in the safe zone for the CV angles with a 1" diff drop kit installed. If 80 coils are going to go higher than that I will have to go another route. I also have to take into consideration the ride quality and safety factor for a new driver to be operating as a DD.

Any thoughts from the Cruiser side of the board?

80 coils will lift a 3rd gen between 2.5 maybe as much as 5 inches. lots of variables and opinions. http://www.yotatech.com/f2/fzj-80-springs-3rd-gen-4runner-rear-axle-157289/
