I've got a Snapper riding mower that I'm thinking of getting rid of. Anyone here have any interest before I put it on Craigslist? These are great as they have no true transmission to go out, just two rubber discs that engage and are super easy to replace. In full disclosure I haven't started it in 18 months but has always run good and has electric start.

John you still have your 100? That 80 is nice I've seen it a few times.
 
I still have it (granddaughter wants it when she turns 16 next year). I have been trough the 100 top to bottom and need something else to work on. Running out of projects except for a rear bumper and front ARB locker. The 450 might have some possibilities and want to look it over as a fixer upper.

I like doing the work that most don't want to tackle. It needs sliders, carpet, seat covers, front bumper with a winch and a good ole cleaning. Brakes, hoses, and on and on. Have to check the engine, transmission, shocks, differentials and paint to make sure it's solid. It appears to be ok so far. I think it's about ready for an engine rebuild and want to do that myself.

Sometimes these things will nickle and dime you into oblivion and have to be careful.

With work and about $3-4,000.00 in parts (no labor cost) it might wind up being a nice one to keep long term. Will have to persuade Matt to build sliders if he's interested.

I'll see if Ryan is serious about selling.

There is a good traceable history on that truck. I drove it and can't remember anything especially wrong with it other that usual wear and tear. There was some rock rash underneath, Ryan said that the PO got over his head on a rock garden one time and smashed his way through. That seemed to be consistent because a few of the brackets were dented and/or gouged but there were not a lot of scrapes.

Your assesment seems to be fairly accurate although it might be in better shape than you are expecting. For that price I would say he is serious about selling. The lift and tires are new in the last couple of years and he was asking more than that before without them.

If you want good stuff and a good price with a bang up warranty...I go outdoor research all day. New Arcteryx is made in china and sold for the same made in Canada price...such is life

And Matt, I think that's an old TNF Peak or an older mountain light jacket probably circa 1997-98...but it's retro awesome as hell.
