This is for sale on CL - it is most of the parts for a 90k service on a 100

Water pump, timing belt bearings

I called because the ad was not clear and the parts are used. They have 26k on them. Story from the guy is he bought a 98 LX that had only 26k on it - the story is it belonged to someone killed in 9/11 attack and sat in storage until finally found and sold. He bought it last year. Pretty crazy if true. Price is cheap, someone may want them for a backup. I've had the idler tensioner pulley go bad before.

Anybody have any sliders for sale or know where I might find some without having to pay the big bucks and have them shipped from Oregon or CA? Would like to find something with some sort of outer tube to act as a step for my kids. I'm in Birmingham. Thanks.

This guy in Opelika just posted on the Alabama Overland page advertising his sliders.

Thanks! Looks like he mostly does Sequoias, but they look pretty good. I messaged him to see if he can do a set for an 80. I'll post here if he can. I would think that others would be interested. Thanks for the info!

Hell, I'd like to know if he could do them for a 60

I haven't heard back from AXE Offroad directly, but I see through some other posts on Alabama Overland that he would be interested in working some up for 80's (or probably 60's, BamaHeel), but he just needs someone to leave a truck with him for design. I don't know how long he would need it, but mine is my DD, so I would have a hard time with this. Maybe someone else could give theirs up for a while?...
He sounds a little concerned about the cats, since that obviously takes additional fabrication, but it didn't sound like he would have a problem with it.

@MillironFZJ80 has listed his junk

96 Land Cruiser - Trade for Truck

I think it's a good deal. I've helped him with some of these mods and I'm impressed with this rig. ALMOST enough to wanna buy it!
I ain't got them doll hairs for an 80 right now though...
Somebody BUY IT!

My brother has a set of 5 used 33x12.5x15 bfgs and wheels for sale. They came off his FJ60. They’re in Orange Park, FL but he’ll bring em up to Mardi Krawl (Tuscumbia) if anyone here wants them...$550 for the set. Details and pics here:

For Sale - 15x8 steel wheels + BFG 33x12.50 (FJ60)

He knows 80’s and did a lot of work on mine way back in the day. Dude has some flat out beautiful welds...

I sent him wheel to wheel measurements and some pictures of cat protection done by MetalTech, White Knuckle and Slee. He said he would take a look and let me know what pricing looked like. He thought he could do some work ahead of time so that he would only need a vehicle for maybe a weekend to complete the design and build of the first set. I'm still not sure when I can let mine go for even a weekend, but it seems much more doable and something I may be able to work out once I get more specifics.
If anyone else is interested in some Alabama-made sliders, let me know so I can give him an idea as to what additional business he might expect once he gets a prototype completed.

nvm. I deleted this because I posted in the wrong region. If you're curious, I'll update the thread in the north Alabama region when I get pics.

I'd be interested in some 100 series sliders. No rush though.
