I've seen this truck and it's in solid condition body wise. The front passenger window is broken and the paint's shot and the front bumper's dented, but the body is solid overall. It's about 3 minutes from my house.

How lethargic are the non 5spd non vvti 100s? (IIRC an 01 has neither) Are they significantly better than an 80? I’ve been thinking about picking up a daily driver, though I’m not really sure I want another land cruiser.

Same crappy 4 speed as your 80, but way more motor. That 1FZ was barely adequate in a stock 80. I like the 100 much better for a driver. But if you've got an 80 for the trails I don't know why you'd bother with another 4x for a dd. I much prefer to hop in a little car to zip around in, especially since it gets 3x the mileage
