People in the fj cruiser section might be some help? Then again, they don't really stick with stock rims that often.

Whoa whoa whoa hold on here! I see a panhard and link bars with coil springs under that 62 (60?). Doesn't seem to be an 80 chassis...? Care to elaborate?

i agree. I want answers!

It's an 80 series axle and 5-link. I used all the factory link locations except I raised the panhard mount. It's been done a few times on the board. I got the idea from an old Toyota Trails mag. I can post more pics when it stops raining (I'm in Seattle, so it could be until July before I get some).

Wow, was it sprung over before the coil conversion? Just wondering how you would rate the new feel.

It was SOA on stock springs + AAL before. Honestly, its not dialed in at all. I need to get a much more aggressive shock, and lower it down a couple inches. I think it has a lot of potential, but just haven't had the time to mess with it lately. I did put an Anti-rock sway bar on the rear, which certainly improve highway stability.

I like it!
