any reviews of these visors? being that they fit between the rubber and the window frame, do they make the window hard to wind up and down?
Hey David, how are you liking them now, five years later? Looks like they're still available from the Climair UK website, thinking about getting some for my FJ60.After several summers, I’m still very satisfied with this product. It is definitely very high quality product. The design is excellent and durable.
The design is perfect. The fit is perfect.
The fact that the deflector is inserted between the rubber and the window frame does not cause a real problem in the operation of the window. Surely, a slight resistance is observed when the window rolled at the top but all this is relatively negligible. The advantages of this product are far greater than this simple inconvenience.
These defectors allow to keep the windows slightly open at all times without fear of seeing water penetrate when it rain and is very nice to drive with the window open because this significantly decreases the noise of the wind at high speed. It is even possible to drive under heavy rain without having water getting inside the vehicle.
I must add that I store my vehicle in the winter and if I would use my Cruiser all year, I would remove them during the winter time because the plastic get more fragile in cold temperature. But I do not suggest that they will not resist the winter ... just like any plastic parts (like a hood deflector), they probably would not support significant hits when it's very cold.
This allows me to precise you that, since you install theme without glue, these deflectors can be removed and put back whenever you need and they still hold firmly.
This is one of my best mod I've made to my vehicle (well, do not take me to my words, I prefer my lift and my bullbar!)... but still ... I recommend everyone to have this on is : «to buy list» ...

yup, thread necro, @David*BJ70 , 81/2 years later if you still own the vehicle these visors went on, how are they holding up? was on climair's site n see they are still available. considering them for my 60 as per your experience with themIt is an excellent product. I am still very satisfied and, BTW, had them for almost 9 years now. I bought them for my HDJ100 too.
They have always stood up very well to the onslaught of tree branches in narrow trails, wind, rain, sun and all!
Funny thing -> I had my windows tinted 3 years ago. The workman had not reinstalled my rear vents properly and one fell off and was lost. He paid for a replacement. When I ordered, Climair UK contacted me to make sure my order was for the 60 series vents as the last order for this product was placed ... by me 7 years earlier!
