So, just one day old and I am already modifying things. Just going over the truck right now to prepare it for its inspection. The first mod was the headlights H4, changed the sealed beams out with Hella buckets and some 100/80 bulbs that Georg through in. I haven't decided what to do with the inner high beams yet. Couple thoughts are to just replace it, or change it to another H4, or put in some sort of LED, or even a fog light assembly. This will be looked at after inspection.

I also ordered up new brake hoses and a T100 MC to put on, this is all in prep for the rear disc and 4runner calipers.

The other mod I did today was replace the side marker with an led pen light.

Now the pics, enjoy!

Well tonight was the front markers got modded, again I bought the last 2 lights from Princess Auto then I epoxied them to the lens cover. Used rubber cromet from extra set of rear markers and used the stock plug.

Well boys finally got the beast to pass inspection. What a crazy week, now she sits for a bit while I go to Okanagon for work and hopefully make some money to go hog wold when I get back.

Well hello there! It has been a busy time between work and the house, but I finally found some time to add some candy to this thread. I have slowly been dismantling the old beast, just the engine and tranny are left. I also dropped some coin and started buying parts to put into the new rig. So I went to Westshore spring and picked up some Dirty 30's, 6 shooter knucles, and chromo lock ring for the wheel bearings.

Nice bits buddy.... the way you wheel and how long factory birfs lasted you... I think this heavey stuff will do very very well for you..

The fact your worked your rig hard on 37s with ARBS..WOW:steer:

First off I would like to give Rob a big thanks for the several days he has spent helping me with the truck. So here are some pics of the issues we ran into this time. In the stock location, used another HJ, for the engine mounts the Denco Turbo was hitting the brake booster. On the second try we moved the mount ahead an inch but we are still going to have contact. Also for a note the factory location mounts the engine diagonally in the frame. I am trying to put it in square. The next try is going to move the engine to the right an inch. Maybe Monday!

Good luck with it all. I had lunch with Phoenician and his 4BT/NV4500 SOA FJ62 in Austin today. Living vicariously through others.
Glad to see it coming together.

Looks like lots of room over the top of the turbo . Why not move the turbo a bit ( make an offset adapter) and land the engine in the stock location ? Seems to me like more work making the engine fit around the turbo placement than making the turbo fit when the engine is the stock location ? Are you going to have to modify the drivelines after you get it to where the turbo fits ?
