Hello, I just picked up this 89' FJ62 and fitted a set of 17" Nomad 504's. They were sold out of everything except for the 0 offset, now my tie rod end is hitting the edge of the wheel barrel at half lock. I prefer a more narrow track but I think I'm going to need spacers, any recommendations on which one and size to go with would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I assume you have the 17 x 8.5”. They need at least 12mm of negative offset to clear the TRE. Given that a 0.5” spacer would work from what I remember but I think most use .75 to be sure it doesn’t rub. With this thick of a spacer you will need extended lugs or need spacer with extended lugs on them.

From what I heard as long as you use any standard brand of spacer it doesn’t matter.

Let some others speak up. I bought nomads last year and remember doing all this math at the time.

Anyone else have feedback about this? @abrumley What's your plan? I bought some Nomad 504 17" 0 offset for my 60 also... think I may need a little somethin to avoid any interference...
