Hey guys,

I’m considering selling my 1987 FJ60 with an LS3 swap and I’m trying to get a realistic value range. I’m located in Ventura County, Southern California. I’ve done quite a bit of work to the truck but kept the body and interior mostly stock.

The swap is California legal and BAR stickered.

Basic info
1987 FJ60
244,000 miles on chassis
About 120,000 miles on the LS3 swap
Clean title
Drives great
A C blows cold
2 inch lift

Highlights
LS3 swap, California compliant with BAR sticker
BAR label shows 2011 Chevy 6.2L, automatic, CAT and EVAP compliant
GM 4L60 automatic transmission
Lokar shifter
4 wheel disc brakes with hydroboost
Lockers front and rear (I will confirm brand and gearing when I’m back to my records)
LED headlights
LED marker lights
16 inch OEM look wheels with OEM hubcaps

Condition
Silver paint, some respray
Clear coat is peeling in areas
Rust in the passenger A pillar
Small rust starting in the driver A pillar
Otherwise pretty clean for its age

I’m not in a rush, just ran my course with it and need to downsize since I have too many vehicles. If anyone has recent comps for a BAR stickered LS3 FJ60 or a ballpark value range, I’d appreciate it.

Not enough pictures provided to give an estimate. I dont see hydroboost on it. Rust and peeling paint will likely hurt the value to varying degrees depending on how the buyer is bugged by it. How complete the swap is matters usually as well. Do the gauges work? Cruise control? Undercarriage and interior condition? Emissions compliance is a big plus.

Here are some additional pictures (I was limited to 5). Drivers side interior. Mainly to show that I've run seat covers and a dash cover to keep the seats and dash in good shape. I'll post actual pics once the car comes out of detail. The rear seat is without seat cover. Got very little use. No rips no tears.

The hydroboost setup which was added later in the build. Another pic showing the ARB onboard air for the from and rear lockers. Front axle and steering is solid.
