Fj60 ram assist

I would like to install ram assist on my widened 60 series axle. I'm running saginaw power steering. I've heard of people using farm implement rams. If that works which one? Otherwise what ram would you recommend?

Surplus center sells rams. Find a 1" or 1.25" double acting ram with whatever throw you need and fab up some mounts.

Tmr sells clamps for the tie rod that give you am adjustable place to attach the ram to the tie rod. Pretty slick.
