I am looking for the correct wiper arm bushing for 1984 FJ60. From wiper motor arm ball to wiper linkage. The only ones I see for sale are all wrong. Many companies are advertising these bushings for this vehicle so I Bought some to try and they are close but just not right. See photos of the problems. Does anyone know who makes a correct bushing for this? the dirty picture shows what the stock one should look like. Mine was found in little pieces so I assume it was supposed to look like the one pictured. I tried modifying the replacement and it split when installed over the ball. Hole in arm is 21mm and bushing is for 20mm, so it would be a sloppy fit even if I could get it installed.

This is the move. Bit of trimming if there's a seam on the exterior dome, but otherwise this is better than OEM.

I don't know. I bought these and tried them and they are super tight on the ball and they don't seat that great in the arm. They aren't terrible. Have you actually tried them for a while?

Used them on the three rigs on the photo. They did require trimming along the injection mold line across the top. The fit on the linkage and the ball is snug, which was the goal. I added a bit of lithium grease inside the ball and it snapped right in. Zero shake in arm travel. Very smooth.

10/10 would do it on my other 60s.

Thanks for clarifying. I will take another look at it.

Yep, those are what I used to fix my wiper linkage a couple months ago. I live in the desert so I don't use the wipers much but they are working great.
