We went with a new vintage air system - just finished building all new mounting brackets, etc. Much smaller than the original and should be more efficient. Need clean up and sell the old unit now

6l80e trans. Wiring complete and doing some finishing touches now. Should be on the road in june

Stock fzj80 springs and had to go with larger wheels due to brake size. Believe they are 17 and 33 on tires. No lift due to the 80 chassis

That is one of the benefits of the 80 chassis under the 60 body. It comes out like a 60 with a 3" lift on 34" tires and you keep the stock 80 geometry.

Here are some rough pics of what we built to make it work - 1 - bracket that fits factory mount points. 2 - the connector between Vintage Air and the factory vents(powder coat black). This is currently in aluminum but we plan to eventually make it out of plastic. 3 - mount for the dash(using a dash replacement from trail tailor) that works with the vintage air controls. 4 - pic of it installed.

Yes - we are putting them together now. If you are interested we could build you a set. Only thing not answered yet is the dash insert for the oem dash - just need to get one of those to see how it would mount on the oem version. Let me know if you are interested.
