For Sale Fj60 OME lift, bumer, rack, arb lockers, ..... Bad engine.

9/84 tan fj60 with 113k miles on it. The previous owner took very good care of this truck. We have all the service records and receipts. Whenever the cruiser needed work or parts, it was repaired properly or upgraded.
Bad news first:
The engine runs but smokes excessively and has major problems. Will need repairs or rebuild. Still runs and drives.
There are a few small rust spots that were cleaned up and painted with some sort of rust inhibiting silver paint by previous owner. Not bad at all but worth mentioning.
The good:
Low milage
Clean body
Very clean Interrior
Alcoa rims with almost new 31" BFG all terrains including spare
OME suspension
ARB air lockers front and rear and compressor
ARB front winch bumper
Full length roof rack
Optima battery
Kaymar dual swing out rear bumper
Cd stereo
You get the point
Located in Stockton CA. $5500 takes it. That's less than the cost of the "bolt-on" parts.

I do have a good used engine if somebody is interested for $500.

That would be perfect Georg, but I don't have the time or money to get it into a DD with the engine. Any idea of what it might take....new gaskets or full rebuild? Interested is trade for an Fj40 for the 60 and work in the motor to swap? Bump for you.

The engine will either need to be rebuilt or replaced. I'd rather assume the worst than post something like "should be a simple fix".

I don't stock diesel engines. I source them for each individual swap. I only perform Toyota diesel swaps because they've proven themselves to be the best engines for the application.

yes, my buddy dan bought this cruiser from a very nice old gentleman in reno last year. we promised him the cruiser would not be parted out. it's much to nice to do so.

I've received a ton of pms and emails asking for pics. These show the worst of the rust. No major rust compared to most 60 series rigs. Some of the rust spits have been worked on, some not. The frame is solid. There's surface rust but absolutely no cancer or scaling.
