Fj60 Brake Booster

I have what I believe is a good fj60 booster. Running Fj80 axles. Should I run the booster or upgrade. What is the best booster upgrade. Will be running the fj80 master. Thanks

I have an fj80 booster and it won't fit. Weird

I use a fzj80 booster and master on my fj62. It fits and works very good. I would go with the 80 booster but wonder why yours isn't fitting properly?

The pushrod that connects to the pedal is not centered in the 4 studs. Its slightly down and hits the firewall. I dont believe its a factory booster.

1995 4Runner brake booster works as well. Just have to flip it upside down and run a longer vacuum hose.

I've used both 4Runner and 80 series boosters and with some (maybe all, I don't remember) have had to rotate 180 degrees to fit.

I have no opinion on the cruiseryard booster but can say the cityracer booster fits and works.

This inexpensive brake booster tool Power Brake Booster Tool really helps with setting the booster push rod to the correct depth.

I believe you need to add an inline check valve for the 4 runner booster FYI so you don't lose breaking ability if engine stalls
