FJ55 Tailgate

If anyone has any information on this it would be appreciated. Need to know if a tailgate from a '74 55 can be used on a '72 55.

I think there is a lot of compatibility w/ the 55 tailgates, but there are some subtle, cosmetic nuances...
I like to look at the SOR website for production changes.

I see that they list tailgates for the following timeframes:
1968 - 9/72
9/72 - 10/72 (what the heck? anyone know what they did special for one month of tailgates?)
10/72 - 9/77
9/77 - 7/80 (I still have not seen a Piggy VIN plate w/ a 1980 build date!)

I put a 1971 tailgate on my 1973 when I, uh, crashed. The only difference was the style of license plate lighting.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I found one in Austin which i will pick up on Friday. Even if the lines dont match up exactly, it can be a temporary fix; The tailgate on this one does not open...
I just recently aquired the the pig, but will post some pics when I can.
