This weekend I just decided to make my dad some new door panels so here are some pics,

Two front door panels for under $50.00
1 sheet of masonite
2.5M foam batting
1 big can of 3m pspray adhesive
2.5M vinyl material

Anyway here are the pics.

Looks pretty good. To get the "indent" area, did you just leave foam out?

I've got some material on order to make a set for my 55. Where did you pick up the masonite?

Yeah just left the foam out in the middle.
Bought the masonite at Home Depot.
Make sure you get the good spray adhesive, you can tell where the first can (cheap stuff is lifting) will have to redo that one later.

Cool - so you did this without staples - glue only? I used staples in my rear panels, but it was a PITA because I had to cut every staple down to 3/16th inch. That hassle has kept me from doing my front panels just yet. If it were easier, I'd be more "inclined" to start :)

Got a photo of the back side you could share?

I did use staples but only on the thick parts where the vinyl would bunch up, I did have one poke through so i know why you cut em down.
I didnt take any pics of the back side, sorry. I will be doing thr rear door panels sometime soon I will make sure to get some pics of them and post them.

Cool- cutting a few is much better than cutting a whole lot

I thought you can get short staples?

Not short enough by any normal means (hardware store or extensive internet searches.) The shortest I could find were .25 inch and I needed them to be a lot shorter.
