Fj45LV dome light question

Question for LV owners. I thought that I read that the Fj55 dome light lens was interchangeable with the LV. True? Does the year matter?

I'm no expert, but I do believe this to be true. I have an LV one and a 55 one. They appear to be identical and mount the same. Of course the on and off toggle breaks off of them. So, I'm going to run it hot and wire it to dash switch. Likely the map light switch I have.

I have a fj55 dome light in my LV, not sure what year or if it makes a difference.
was up in the attic yesterday and found 2 of the triangle pilar mount dome lights, I think they were on Canadian spec LV's

Ohhhhh boy........Any chance you want to part with one of those? I think your right on the Canadian spec info. I'd be interested.

John is right. FJ55 dome light same for "us spec" trucks.

the triangle dome lights on pillars were spec with upper visor vent.
