Got my 45 in the shop today to start work on it, got some ?? and observations
First the observations
My "bug catcher" vent rubbers are flexable and in great shpe, but I am thinking about upgrading to the later doors....

If they were factory, what turned tham on, cause I know the toggle switch shown here under the cluster is not OEM .......it is what controls them now.....In case you are wondering the huge knob, was used to control the Ramsey pto drive that was on here when I got it......no winch just the drive .........

Ahh, man, keep the doors with the bugcatchers. They so cool.
Don't know if it is original for sure, but the windshield vent "hinge" on my truck is made of roughwoven canvas. Same kind of material the straps that hold up a bench seat in a '40 are made of.
Those would be aftermarket side mirrors, but they are in the right place. The OEMs had multiangle hinges, and a telescoping arm (handy when pulling trailers).
pretty sure domelights aren't original...mine's a 65 and oem was a light in an "L" type bracket hanging off the center upper section of the rear cap. has a switch on the light, iirc.
mirrors are aftermarket, but in correct location. is there an oval shaped piece of steel there to reinforce? i've got that. takes the extendable mirror arms that most people mount off the w/s hinges.
keep the bugcatchers...they're too cool to get rid of. if you don't, i've got doors off a 76 i'll trade ya.
the center w/s rubber is just that...a chunk of rubber. i hate to mention their name, but $phincter is selling it now. or just get a thin chunk of rubber and cut your own.
from what i can see, the oem color coming through looks like horizon (proper translation is actually "horizontal") blue
tomorrow, shawn and i are going to start working on the wiring on my 45 shorty...should be interesting since neither of us are good at wiring and there's no oem harness left.
if fuse block is in the center of the firewall then it never had a OEM heater, uness it had the optional pass side firewall Nippon Denso heater(pic below) but I am sure it didn't, the heater in yours looks like a 1000 other early heaters that were installed in the US.

Horizon(or Horizontal) blue but it might be different, 65 I know, 64 below don't
think SOR has the vent rubber
arm and mirror not stock, the location might be, I like the round head mirrors you have, use those.
hinge mount mirrors are latter, mid 70's?
did you know even the SWB 45 was 1 ton rated, same as the 45 long bed. 45LV shares the same frame
So, it looked to me that the driveshaft was bigger than an FJ40's. Looked the same diameter as the LWB. That must give it the 1 ton rating (among other things).
