Unbelievable...

Last Saturday I woke up and my left knee was sore. Well, it has gotten progressively worse and, to make a long story short, I probably won't make it this year.

I would have to get the cruiser ready tonight and I simply cannot move. Would have been my first real wheel all summer.

Hope you guys have fun...

Dam sorry to hear that ! Hope to see you at SnT

That sucks. Miss you already. Glad I didn't buy the eggs and bacon already.

it's friday evening, 10.36pm..........

just got home from the shop. put the finishing touches on a customers cruiser so he can bring it to the event. well, there are a few smaller items that need completion but it's trail ready. so i got that going for me.

tomorrow morning i'll get up at 5am to pack the camping gear, food, check all the fluids, grab all the raffle items and the event t-shirts, then fuel up and hit the road.
so hopefully i'll get there before 4pm this year.

see y'all very soon.

fwiw, just got a call from paula, she and hoe will be there with the obligatory pig-b-que! :grinpimp:

Good times. Same group as last year, but we went twice as far without getting out a strap, tool or jack. 15yo Haley wheeled the FJ Cruiser one way.

Except for that Bronco II you dragged back to camp...

That was the previous day and he wasn't part of our group. :)

I pulled that f'er about 2/3s of the way from the 2nd crossing with his engine not running. I was pretty surprised I could pull him up the hard parts as easily as I did. Once back in camp a few shots of PB Blaster unstuck the stick idle solenoid on his fuel injection and he drove out from there.
