1968 FJ40: Anyone have an idea what a transfer case and 3 speed transmission is worth. Good condition and was rebuilt approx. 5 years ago.

Have looked in the classifieds to see if there are any for sale? Um rebuilt is such a vague term? By who and what exactly they did has a lot of value. Also is 3 on the tree still or on the floor. Good luck.
Some years back I bought a 4sp with the transfer case and the bell housing adapter to smc for like $300 and was supposed to be in good working order. Its been sitting on the porch for like 15 years. Had to drive like 800 miles round trip

I rebuilt it myself and has been trouble free, still in vehicle . It’s a floor mount.
Not much. The 3 speed tcase probably has more value than the trans.
Think location has a lot to do with the value. Last two three speed transfer cases I gotten were given to me. Granted they were in pieces but everything inside was in good rust free shape.
Transmission depends how what shape first/reverse gear is in. Non synchronized that gear tends to get worn fron being forced it into gear.
