This air cleaner came with a 1965 FJ45 that I restored. An aftermarket carburetor and air cleaner were installed and this was an extra part. It was sand blasted and powder coated in satin black.

It came with a 1965 that I restored. It had an aftermarket carb so this air cleaner was not being used.

My $0.02 - I think the hole was added. The weird ‘69 had the carb stud but the air cleaner top for them had a dimple and hole for the wing nut.
