Here are some more of the Rad, the solution I have come up with by checking out some HJ47 setups. Is I am going to use the 40 Rad but swap the tops around and for the bottom, move the outlet closer to the edge and ad a angle piece on. For the frame I am going to cut the bottom off and make my own mount. Also I am going to move it back towards the cross brace and up a bit. All this should give me the room I need.

from what info i have gathered, the HJ47 only came with PS in the ute body, as the troopy has a larger rad and no room for a 2H pump, and never had power steering from factory. FJ45 yes, HJ47... not on the troopy. i would guess that the ute has a smaller rad.

Outer Limits 4x4 Board :: View topic - FYI: 60# powersteering into 47# (dialup warning)

not exactly your set-up, it's 60 bits into a 47, but has a good pics of the rad mod to fit the pump and lower hose. i gather that this way, the stock lower rad hose can still be used.

i think that guy is on mud as "flamebandit" i know he is on outerlimits as "pcman"

Yes you are right about the PS pump. I was actually referencing a HJ47 flat deck that came through the shop he put one on his. Henry James the 47th is his handle. Well I took the FJ60 rad to the shop today to get things moved about. I should get it next week and show you what a mess I have created. So this weekend will be working on electrical mainly and the tranny hump.

Well here is another weekend of working, but it all pays off in the end. It was the weekend of tedious wiring. I got all the wiring done that needed to be done and tried to use matching wires for each item. The first pictures are of the Alternator and water temp sender. 2nd one is of the VSV which shuts the engine down. 3rd is of the glow solenoid which is of a Delica.

The next one is of the starter relay and oil pressure sender which is from a 2F. The next one is of the grounds which go from bellhousing to frame on both sides.

Well I tried to upload an Mpeg of a 10 sec run but it wont happen, anyways. So the list I have left to do is:
1. Tranny hump mod
2. Rad mount and fill
3. Driveshaft mod and mount
4. Exhaust mount
5. Throttle cable
6. PS lines
7. Airbox

Short future ones are:
1. Move Fuel tank to under frame
2. Hy steer
3. 60 springs all the way
4. ebrake cable
5. steering colume
6. 60 wiring harness
7. gauges
8. Onboard air
and Probably more

So a couple issues I need to deal with this weekend that have popped up. 1st was the oil pan which had a patch on it and as I figured it would it leaks, oh well. the second is more severe and should be a lesson for everyone why it is important to stay on top of your maintenance. So these pictures are of the rocker arms that weren't adjusted properly.

So another weekend come and gone. Well after a busy sat helping Jay and his starter and dealing with other customers, I still managed to get the interior back together and the rad at least mocked in. Before I forget a big thanks goes to Rob Lassman for helping on Sat. These first pics are of the rocker arm shaft and a side by side of some rocker arms.

Well guys, another weekend has come and gone. This weekend I managed to get the rad mounted and hooked up, half the exhaust installed, and the temporary battery tray installed. The first pics are of the rad bottom mounts. I'll be putting support brackets in later.

Here are a couple of the 2.5" exhaust with mandrels, flex joint and a magnaflow muffler. Only have the first section done with the Flex. I managed to keep it high and went over the crossmember.

And for something different, this is what took some of my valuable time this weekend.

Blingy pipe dude.

Sorry never made it up this week, but I will shoot for next weekend.\
