FJ40 Steering Column / Wheel connection question (1 Viewer)

When we bought this FJ, it had an aftermarket steering wheel and adaptor on it.

I purchased the correct steering wheel. We are unsure of how the steering column and the FJ40 steering wheel connect. Is there a missing piece or ?

The 3rd picture is the adapter that was slid over the spline for the aftermarket wheel.

Your stk wheel should slide over the splines then a washer and nut. Try to make sure the wheels are straight so you position the wheel properly.

Steering wheel slides down onto the splines of the column.
