…it’s really torque and gearing that helps propel you over the mountain, and we didn’t seem to have enough of that, either.How fast could these “race” Cruisers really be? Ha. I remember my dad having to pull over and shift our Cruiser into low to make it over a mountain pass because 145 hp wasn’t enough power to pull a lightweight military trailer full of building materials headed across Colorado to our cabin.
These engines had to be modified, right?
