I had the original glove box with the shift plate instructions on it, so I took the plate off and the paint store matched the color under the plate. It is non metallic-matched the color really good

Would you consider making a vinyl speedo overlay with markings applied? In this case you don't need to remove the needle, then the gauge from the cluster, paint, etc. this would of be great option for quick and easy change.
