FJ40 76 Master Cylinder Rebuild

I am rebuilding my master brake cylinder. Unfortunately in trying to get the piston out with air pressure the pistons and all the guts went flying across the shop before i could see the order to reinstall them. Where does the big spring go between the pistons i hope the rebuild kit includes the nylon plastic part the spring goes against on the cylinder because half of it is broke during the flight across the shop.

I am sure you know this already, but.. Go to SOR website and look up the part and then it will show the breakout of the booster. Or you can buy a FSM. Or you can search Trollhole and get a digital copy free.

sor doesn't describe the springs it just shows both springs. The rebuild kit included complete pistons and both springs just got to figure which one goes where.

Springs look the same to me i saw that same pick on sor. Thanks for the
Fsm links. I have the 71 set but not for the 76 or 75 guessing the 75 will work for the 76. Maybe sor can tell me over the phone which spring goes where i did get the kits from them.

I know it is an old thread, but Google still shows it, when you looking for information about springs direction...
