By the looks of it Phil you don't look to worried about where your next meal will be coming from. Hopefully you don't have a gub hidden out there and shoot one of those little Bambi. That won't be fair. I thought about one getting one of those automatic corn feeding at the cabin just to bring in the deer to watch only. I hunt when I can get drawn but won't bate to get one, just doesn't seem fair. That takes all the "HUNT" out of hunting.

OK guys, I'm outta here until 1/7, so try not to burn down the place while I'm gone.

And give Joel a bump for his FJ25 over in general classified occasionally too. :D

Hey Steve since Jim was headed down your way why didn't you ask him to bring you down the hard top from his latest cruiser. I assumed he flew down but if you would of helped out on gas I'm sure he would have driven his 100 down. Fiberglass top strapped to the top, the side and doors crammed inside. I'm know his wife and daughter won't of minded:rolleyes:

Actually, Jim is driving down, and he's supposed to be swinging by to say hi on his way tomorrow morning. But, he didn't mention anything about a full hardtop being crammed into his FJ100.

Maybe he's going to surprise me with a New Years present. Ya think?

Too bad. I wonder what the cost of a small Uhaul trailer and some extra gas would have been. Might have just miss a good chance. So have you thought about doing the later 40 style OEM soft top and hard door that would look original on a 25.:) Just a thought. I might do that on the early 40 I have in the summer time, but I already have everything I need:D.

A real man would have driven FJ25 not his FJ100:rolleyes: Of course I guess he would have to sleep in it every night cause we all know the FJ25s are on the top of the list of vehicles that stolen:rolleyes:

Well as long as you two are going to meet let's see some pictures of this occasion. You know in front of your 25, giving each other a hug showing this small group's feelings it has for each other:rolleyes: . I get all tearie eyed just thinking about it:rolleyes: . Note to self NO CONFERENCE AT THE CABIN EASIEST WAY TO AVOID GROUP HUG. Really take a couple of pictures and post them, how often do any of us get a chance to meet face to face.

So the Cruiser Chick is more than a little upset, been waiting for years for me to build her a cruiser, seems all I do is take junk apart and decorate with it...she wants one NOW! An LX 450 might restore harmony, however.

Hmmmm

Hmmmmmmm indeed, pulled the trigger just before we went to Vegas for Christmas, she didn't think I could go three days without 'Mud and this in the garage at the same time....I know what I'll be doing next year-working More!

I was planning on doing just that, but Jim called last night to tell me he wouldn't be able to coordinate our visit on the way down to FL. :frown: However, he's going to give it his best shot on the return trip. FJ25 and camera will be at the ready. :)

Matter of fact, that's probably the look I'm shooting for.

Rumor has it that STC makes and sells an FJ40 OEM-style soft-top. But I'm not sure if it's only the fabric replacement for those who already have OEM bows . . . . or if it's an entire kit including bows and hardware.

Then it would be a matter of tracking down some FJ25 hardtop front doors or early FJ40 hard doors. That would put me ahead of the game when it eventually comes time to go completely hardtop. :)

I think that's the one that Danny Warden's had in Placerville CA. If so that is the one that had the original canvas soft top on that is now back east to be used for a pattern for the replacement top were all hope to get, at least the ones with soft top bodies. STC makes the top but not the bows. Those can be hard to find I think there are being made in Pakistan, long wait and not cheap. You could try Ebay but good luck.

Did Gifu make the 25 tubs also?

Gifu I think was like custom coachwork.......I believe they only did the 45LV............and the 35's...........and the 28's.............:D

Well, Disney World is completely devoid of anything Cruiser. :crybaby:

And since everyone seems concerned about my transportation...I took this pic of a line up of about ten 2006 Dodge Caravans (all rentals - mine included) which in a sick twisted way reminded me of a Cruiser event. I didn't take the 100.....mainly because the extra three fuel stops would have killed my travel time.

Steve, still gonna try to swing by Friday, prolly early afternoon.

Well it's been fun guys......but my access will expire tomorrow and I need to give my daughter back her computer....

I see we had a spammer that Woody zapped......a new 25 owner.....and my stockpile of 25 bibs is gonna be worth big bucks........ maybe I should go away more often. :D
