I was told that my 64 originally had that color upholstery ( you can even see it in the jumpseats screws )
Is a red fj gonna look good with that coral/brown upholstery?

The bottom pic is of the seats in my '64...they appear to still be the original seats...jump seats also.

Shane showed me some material samples for the color you have, cool stuff.

What do you guys like/dislike about that truck? What is correct or incorrect about it? I don't know much about these early trucks...

One more thing... The seller sent me a pic of the vin tag. What's that round coin on the left side of the tag?
I can tell you that if was still looking for a Cruiser, she would probably already be here.
I do not like the CB antenna on the back driver's side, and I do not like those seat skins...not sure about that dash extras. The antenna is easy to remove and fix...the seat skins I would wait till Shane (atlas) gets to reproducing the original seat skins.
Are you looking for something to lift, cut, modify, or something to keep and enjoy as a classic? I am a purist (not necessarily a good thing) and rather than going the long way like I am, this looks like something I can buy, and enjoy right away. Should I need to replace anything, then I'd be sure to use only parts for a 1966.

The tag probably means it a 65 model titled as a 66. This happened a lot during the 1960s. It not any earlier than 65. Not even a early 65. A early 65 would of had the vent in the bottom of the windshield.
With just looking at the picture the seat covers have been replaced and the running board have also been replaced or the rubber material has been covered. This thing looks really stock compared to the 65 with flat metal floors that sold for for over 31K. I don't know how much this one is worth but I would have never paid 31K for that other one. This one if it is really as good as original as it looks I probably would not pay much over the starting price if I was in the market for this vintage cruiser. But I do live in the southwest where rust free cruisers are not that uncommon.

This is probably a thirty mile drive for me in freeway traffic. Plus this is to new for me. Now if it was a soft top model with the Factory PTO I might thought about it.
Fourteen Land Cruisers now not really in the market for anymore. At least nothing in this price range. The 61 hard top is not even what I normally collect. If it wasn't a 61 and had the factory PTO winch I probably wouldn't have even given it a second look.
Is a '63 too new? I just saw this linked in the NM High Desert Cruisers clubhouse, and thought you guys might like to see it.

Glad it's not closer to me or I would probably go take a look. Hub caps and stamped bezel tell me this one might be pretty stock. It also could had the double sided turn signals which would make it a 62. Crank handles for the window put it later than 61. Can't tell if that's some kind if heater control on the dash where the ash tray would be. If it didn't have a ash tray it would be a 62. So who in the Denver area going to make a short road trip and save this thing?
I thinking about sending my nephew to look at it, (if he answers my email) I have to go out there with a trailer in a month or two, and I think it is illegal to haul a trailer back across the country empty. (especially when mostly rust free Cruisers are available)
