how did you find that picture of me in my green shorts? Know you know why I like pi-t-chers so much :)

Isn't more about what's in the pi-t-cher than the pi-t-cher itself Johnny:rolleyes:

Thanks Mike. That is should a nice top is really needed some pictures posted on this thread:bounce::bounce2:

If I haven't blown my cruiser budget for the next ten years on the 1970 I would seriously think about contacting Badger. That is one nice top. Not that OCD wouldn't be better in a different more water proof material, just not going to get mixed up in that mess. Jim (Cruiser_Nerd) what is your thought on the canvas, would you still do it again in the same material? I know when you had it made you weren't thinking the only time you took the 25 out it was going to be pouring.

since this is an old thread, and websites have come and gone, is there any way to get those that linked softtop parts photos to upload them here?

i'm going to have to make a frame, but i have someone lined up to make the canvas portion, so i would love to have close up views of the bars above/behind the doors, and measurements of the overall framework if possible. there are some measurements here, i just need to make sense of them;)

I was on my phone last night and didn't want to try and search for the other threads. Thanks Jim for linking them here where they should be.

I have this one I could get more info off of in a couple weeks and have a loose set here in town I picked up last year I could put on a cruiser and measure. That set came with factory doors that were cut down to half doors:bang: Hoping to use the a later set of door to make a set of early doors. Sure we can up up with any information needed. If we could just find a source for the canvas and we would be good.

this link has exactly what i'm looking for!!!

awesome! it will be a while before i'm ready to start building bows, but hopefully this summer sometime. i can get the old gears in my head turning now.

for the door, i think the square stock/w/s channel retainer is beyond me, so i was going to do the aftermarket style round stock idea/wrapped and sewn material idea, is there any reason to really have the weatherstrip on the outer edge?

this will be a very fair weather rig, but it would be nice (like right now as it sits out getting snowed on while we clean the garage out) to be able to have it driveable/sitting outside in weather

Reading all these posts brings me back to what Soft Top parts I'm missing for Front Bows.

I'm missing 2 roundish clamps and the square piece that bolts to the side of B Pillar.

I'm wondering how hard it would be to fab these or if anyone else has some laying around (wishful thinking I guess).

another option would be to contact Awl_TEQ and see if he can work some up for me.
