Back to the gas tank... any idea what sending unit is in that? Or did it come with it? Mine has no hole for a unit so I guess I could make something or find the appropriate item. Lookin good though. Keep it up.

The sender came in it but, I have seen discussions on them around here before....

I would guess Man-a-fre would sell them

Work resumes...

HI Guys,

I apologize for not updating this thread.. Things have been crazy. Last year about this time I got a new job and started adopting a new daughter. Well the job and the daughter are now under control so hopefully I will have some more time to be around. My pictures for this thread were also lost in a server crash.

Right now my cruiser is sitting on stands waiting on the new 3:70 axles I am putting together right now.

Today I almost finished the back but, need to replace the bearings... I think. I understand that can be a pain but, then again. What isn't some times.

I will post up a new set of pics as soon as I can.

Thanks,
Jack

Some updates...

I have my rolling chassis and driveline comeplete. I will try and post up a little movie of that and some new pics since all my other pics were losts in the server crash.

Yesterday I set to work seperating the front section of the body from the bed section.

It was pretty easy: unbolt the sides, cut the top section, drill out the welds in the lip underneath the truck.. I did not have much of a chance to really snap pics but, I took a few.

Next I will take the body have it sandblasted. We will prime everything weld it together and then send it off to the painters.

I braced the two pillars together to keep them from moving
