Fixed my Rear View Camera ( original camera )

Bought a new to me 100 series few weeks ago. When I bought it the rear camera was working , then it stopped working.

Few days ago my friend pointed out to me that the Rear bumper light on the driver side was not working.
Yesterday I took a look at it and found some loose connections. There where 3 wires RED Black and White and they where just spliced together with no soldering. I´m not sure they are original color or not.

I fixed the wire connections for the light and now the light works and my Rear view camera is now also working again.

I´m not 100 % sure if the light and the camera is somehow connected or not but possibly ???

Interesting. North American 100 series. Those are just reflectors (no wires). Perhaps you aftermarket lights & wiring.

Yes I think your right about that. Most likely a aftermarket lights. These lights are led , no other lights on this truck are.

They're reflectors as built in all of the markets I've seen. I also have the lamp conversion though to provide rear foglights on a JDM vehicle (legal requirement here)
