Ruff stuff has u-bolts in a bunch of sizes, I think they're pretty cheap. I'm getting new rears from them when I do my rear axle swap.
Good to know, but I do not know what the dimensions or anything are for the u-bolts and their site doesnt say what they will fit.

We have a place local called Six States, if you take a current built to the shop they will build one to fit in a longer size shape ect. I see the closest one to you is in Elko but they are very affordable. I would think you could find a similar type place near you. http://www.sixstates.com/products/locations.jsp

LOL... elko is a ways away from here. Bayshore seems to be the same "type" of commercial truck places and the guys over on Reno4x4 (including one of Bayshore's ex-employees) give them high ratings. I just got to get time to call them to see if they have dimensions for standard u-bolts for a 60 (e.g. something they have done before) or if it would be something that I would need to take to them.

Great write up. I am doing the same thing this week and was wondering if there were any modifications needed to make the 31's work. But I see you are totally stock so I'm going ahead with the same tires. Picture shows current mismatched 235/75/15's

Yeah no mods needed for the 31s. You can sometimes fit 33s if your suspension isn't flat like mine, you will get minimal rubbing with the 33s though.

Ok so got a question for everyone, once again oil pressure dropped to nothing this weekend while on the trail but the ole girl never missed a beat so I am 99% sure the sensor is done. So the dumb question is.... Do I have to drain the oil to replace the sender? Got a couple other small parts to get from Onur soon so will just add that to the mix.

Oh and just cuz everyone loves pics.

The oil pressure sender screws into the filter housing. You can unscrew it and a little oil will drain out but not that much.

It's pretty common for the wire connector at the sender to fail or give trouble. I'd take a close look at it first.

Don't have to drain the oil, sender screws onto the block, just unscrew and replace. There may be a few drops

OK, not quite the block... Georg has probably forgotten more information about Land Cruisers, than I ever learned

@89fjlandcruiser I am riding a Hammer Head Thumper Full sus, fsr/Horst link suspension and absolutely love it. 29er plus 140mm all around and big tires makes for an amazing ride!! Can't wait to take it to Sedona in a few weeks.

@Oaks yeah still loving the tires. Still incredibly impressed with how quiet they are on the road and have put about 1500 miles on them since November. Finally got some real off-road taste for the, this weekend and they did great. Didn't test too much or air the, down simply because I was by myself but had some small water crossings/mud pits and couple of loose climbs and they did great. Gonna see if I can get a buddy to follow me up to the snow soon so I can test them out a bit more.

I'm still old school!
I have a 1995 GT Zaskar hard tail , xtr all around and a specialized carbon fiber road bike.

Yeah it is a nice bike! I've enjoyed it through out the years.
Been hanging in the rafters time to break it out again.

Yeah I have ridden a steel On-One Inbred 29er hardtail for the last few years but it just destroys my back on longer rides. So when I came across a stellar deal on the Thumper I couldn't pass up the opportunity. Been an incredible bike thus far.
