Guess it depends on local/state tinting laws, my state only allows a band across the top, ie: have to stay above the AS-1 line.

I’ve been running 20% for nearly two decades in two states. I’ve only ever been allegedly pulled over for is speeding and no front plate.
70% front tint is only noticeable if you actually look through the tint held up from its roll.

Mine was tint free from the factory and I'm going to keep it that way, gets a little warm sitting in the summer sun but I think the cloth seats help with the cabin temps.
