Fenders

It's time to get new fenders and I was wondering which ones to go with SOR or coolcruisers? Anybody have any experience with these?

I bought CCOT's, they were on sale like$299 + free shipping. They fit nice and weighed about half what my bent up stockers did. In daily use, I figure they'll last about 3-4 years.
I just urethane primed then painted mine and hung them. Fit and form +++++. Longevity???????

I also have the CCOT fenders, they require a little convincing to get them fitting properly but all in all I'm happy with them

and don't rule out OEM new fenders from the dealer, I recall they are around $200 each if you shop around.

i don't like the way they look. the flat cut across the front is lame.

Thanks for the input! I haven't found OEM fenders for less that 250.00 and the Aluminum would be great it it looked more like the original, I agree about the straight line. I am still wondering about the quality of SOR's fenders...they usually have decent stuff.

I have some SOR fenders sitting in the barn, awaiting paint and implantation. Since I haven't actually switched them over, I can't say for sure about the fit, but As Far As I Can Tell, they are identical to the originals (except for the bend/warps/cracks in my originals! )

i recently put a set of sor's fenders on a cruiser...took a little work, but they fit well in the end.

not sure if that's the way you want to go, but it is another option

Then just do this I figured I could spend the $$$ and get new ones but they'll just get crunched too. That and now I have the clearence I need for 37s

Are the CCOT fenders any different than SOR's? and are they the same guage as OEM?

I haven't checked out fenders, but the rear quarter panel that I got from CCOT was just like OEM, matched perfectly, same gauge, etc.

How long ago did you get your front fenders from Toyota? I called the dealer today and they told me they were discontinued and to go to SOR for reproductions. Is my dealer full of it? I've got 2 brand new CCOT fenders but decided I'd rather go with OEM if available....Please advise.
