Been in touch with my powdercoating guy this morning (Christian and I talked about that option) and it would end up being about $10 each for black powdercoat (that's their minimum charge). I might be able to get it for a little less if I can sneak some other stuff in there as well but I have no projects requiring that right now. It would have to be all of the already ordered 10 plates, otherwise it would not be worth it. Unless someone has a powder coating guy locally that's less expensive, my guys are in North Delta.
I'd do PC if all 10 want it done, if not, let me know when it's all ready and I'll get you the cash

I talked to my laser cutting place, they had a small issue and all the orders got pushed back by a couple days. He is trying to get the parts out today but that might not happen. Terribly sorry for the delay.
If I get them today, in time, I will bring them to the Coastal Cruisers meeting this evening. If not, I will get them to Christian and anyone else that was planning on picking them up at the meeting. Hopefully they get them done in time, but if not, I'm sorry and I will get it sorted out.
The same goes for my tire carrier kit parts I have been waiting on for a couple customers.

First batch complete!
The first batch is complete and I will get to shipping quotes within the next few days.
As for powder coating I will ask each one of you and then we will go from there.

Some more pics, the edges are all ground smooth after they have been laser cut and formed. They also have cleaner edges than the originals.

The way I look at it, I am not here to get rich, I am here to offer some products, that are in demand, for as fair of a price as I can make it after getting a buck or 2 in my pocket for all the work. I try to make the best quality products out there, it will not be the cheapest, but it will be some of the best. I hope I can ear all of your respect and develop a reputation with all of you that I have with my local customers, while providing you with products I enjoy building and designing.

Hi, I'll be starting the next batch shortly, I am looking at an option of doing zinc coating, I can set that up fairly inexpensively. It would end up being $30 a piece with the full zinc coat finish.
