Bump for reminder.

Also - anyone besides Erik interested in crashing at our house Saturday evening? Need to know as we are going to clear out the attic into one of the spare bedrooms this weekend if no one else needs a bed.

Let me know. Thanks.

Yep, need room for sleeping bag.

What additional tooling might you guys need? (chop saw, angle grinder, etc)

Ya'll gonna be there on Sunday too right?

I can't make it Saturday, at least not for any decent amount of time. I can skip class on Sunday since its only lab work.

Kris - we have 2 guest bedrooms, so no sleeping bag required. Tools - probably an extra grinder / flapper wheel would be handy. I'm in pretty good shape with tools, but a few more isn't going to hurt.

Andrew - we'll be working on Sunday as well - not sure how long, but if you want to come down Saturday evening you are welcome to.

Awesome!

I'll throw in few extra tools and what not.

While I'm thinking about it, do you need wire or rod for your MIG/TIG?

craig. Correction on die sizes .. I have 1 3/4" and 3/4".
Looking forward to it.. Sage might come with.

No plans for the running boards & brackets but planning to incorporate the mud flaps into the slider design if possible.

Do you have mudflaps and running boards or are you talking about the front trim pieces that tie the flare to the running board?

WTF? Huh.. So your not heading north? So? You do need the tranny and tcase in my shop now? :)
Just kidding.. We'll get what you need ready and get that project GONE..

I really, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY need to borrow a bell housing, 3 or 4 speed doesn't matter and I'll have it back to ya in a couple weeks. Seems I ended up with a 3F bell housing that doesn't have provisions for motor mounts and I've got to ship my sm420/3spd stufff (including my bell housing) this week.

The weather up north is suppose to get crappy.... rain, sleet, snow, freezing rain and 60-70mph winds. Makes me wanna move to Texas.... oh wait, that's another story.

Erik, bring it! I need to get started on something.

call me after 5 then.. I'll dig out what ya need. I still don't understand what you have and it baffles me.
I have a 4spd bellhousing I can bring but it needs to be replaced. I can't bring a 3spd bellhousing tho as I don't think i have one in the shop pulled.

Replacement ? Not in a hurry but within 4 months.

I'm gonna try to make it down Sat. Have to be back Sat eve, tho.

If anybody wants to get their CB checked out, let me know so I can bring my test equipment.

Bob,

Do you have gear for checking noise in a setup? My SWR is good but I have noise and end up cranking up the squelch.

Mike,

Still need the trailer up north?

I have a spectrum analyzer that we can use to look at the signal from the antenna. Is it there if the truck isn't running?

Computer went down yesterday and was up until 10:30 getting just the basics with the 8 bazillion updates that MS has had to do...

Bob - I just have the flares for up front right now. Didn't know if there was a way to neatly trim those down or if I needed to pony up for flares. Thoughts?

Mike - we also have a stick welder here which I could use while someone else is using the MIG. Kris - how much welding do you have planned?

would you guys be willing to bend up a set of sliders for my '60 while you do the rest of the group? I can weld them up later. I'm happy to pony up for materials 'n such but I wont be able to help as I'll have rugrat with me on saturday. I'll even bring a cooler of shiner for your trouble.

SOOO Does anybody have a Minitruck rear bumper they need to get rid of?
Mike? in your pile of junk? Just need to put something on the back of a 92.. Would prefer a stock one someone is replacing.

If you're talking about the front trim pieces that match the running boards to the flares, then yea, that should work, depending on the slider design. Mudflaps will reduce the amount of crap that gets thrown up on the body and the sliders.... if that matters.
