I was looking at these because you can find them for really cheap... then I saw a warning on Falken's site basically saying tires designated for scrap were being sold. pretty much took these out of my consideration set.

WILDPEAK A/T3W TIRE

I really wanted AT3Ws in 275/70/18 but they're 67lbs each and only E rated. That's way too heavy for my liking. Wish they made a C rating or P- met in for that size.

I'd like to buy these but ivI' had falken brand tires on my wife's car and had nothing but problems with them. Given they are cheaper car tires, but left me with a bad taste.
Constantly having to rebalance. Tred separation. Warranty honored, but still a PITA.

However, I really like the tread design of these tires, and hope to read about good experiences with them.

I once had a near death experience on the interstate with a Tacoma that at the time I hadn't had but a few weeks and was waiting to put some different tires on. It had some cheap off brand that I had never heard of. Long story short, taking the weather conditions into consideration with our rate of travel, my family of four was spun sideways into the median, I've done some extensive driving and was lucky enough to keep it right side up. I would never put actual cheap, poorly designed tires on a vehicle. Falken decided they wanted to break into the light truck market with their last version of the wildpeak at, and nothing I researched and experienced would say the last generation had any problems, in fact quite the opposite. I think the at3w's are an improvement in every regard, especially at the price point they are offered at. Sorry for the rant.

If I was to go with bad experiences, I would probably never buy ko2's again, considering the ones I have currently were a warranty replacement set for a different set(which did exactly what your falken tires did)... but then again they work great for what I need them too.:worms::D

Got my tires mounted on my BBS wheels today. Spacers should be here tomorrow.

I have 275/70/18 wildpeak at3 and really like them. I have ko2's on my f150 and honestly I like the at3's better just because of the price. I believe they are a comparable tire, except the Falkens have a mileage warranty. They have performed very well offroad, and are quieter on the road than the ko2's. No regrets here!

I've had mine for like 25k miles, can't really tell there's any wear, size 285/16. For me, 5 tires was less $ than 4 tires of most other similar aggressive AT tires. Like said, they seem quieter than KO2s that everybody, their brother and their whole neighborhood are running these days. We like them significantly more than the Duratracs they replaced - improved steering feel, improved road handling in turns, quieter, braking seems slightly improved too - guessing mainly because the DTs were so "soft".

I did have to have a warranty claim on one tire that got a nice crack in the sidewall after hitting a giant pothole at freezing temps going over speed limit with a rig loaded for a week of vacationing. Still held air, but from then on decided it's worth always having 5 matching tires, especially for a full-time 4wd rig.

Non DOT tires being resold has been happening for ages. Super common on General Grabbers and BFG KMs and their desert only tires.

Can't wait to see these on! These are by far my favorite Tundra wheels, and I can't remember seeing a set of black ones on. Post up when you get those spacers…

Went with 1 1/4" BORA wheels spacers. Tires bottom out and rub a little on the top of the wheel well right now. But I'll probably roll the fender lips some. tire ride great. Drove about 300 miles on them so far.

Also took the factory roof rack off too.

I just got these put on my 98 LC.
285/75R16, E load rating. Paid $177/tire at Discount Tire. They feel great under the truck.
I have access to a radar gun, so I will post the calibration comparison later today.
25 indicated = 26mph
75 indicated = 78mph

I have a set on my 570-primarily because they were almost half as much in the size I wanted vs. Ko2's. I like them so far. They are really quiet(even with the windows down) but I'm sure they'll become louder like every other AT tire with age and mileage.View attachment 1696038
What size you running on the Falkens? 275-60r20 (33x11)?

Anyone taken these off road and air downed to 15 psi? Lots of rocks where we go and wanted to see if there is any real world experience with this tire. Thank you.
