No rubbing as best as I can tell. We had a blast in the mud. I didn't have as much fun today... About 5 hours with the hose and pressure washer to get off all the crap.

Do you have any pictures of the 315's mounted up?
Thanks

Just got my 315's on this morning. They ride awesome and are quiet. Really smooth. I had my buddy's drive it. They have the duratracks and Km2's in the same size and also 80's. I put 150+ miles on them today through the bay area rain and they were great. The tread is pretty aggressive for a AT.

They measured out at a little over 34.3"+ as advertised, and are about 33.5" mounted with vehicle weight. I havent checked the tires pressure yet. They took not too much weight to balance besides one of my tires that the tech said the rim was slightly bent, he re-clocked the tire and still out of balance so they had to add 4oz of weight. Oh well.

I have a set of these on my other vehicle, a ford e350 van, they seem to be wearing quick but I drive a lot so? The other thing is that all but the lengthwise ribs is worn away so they look like a street tire. Worthless
in mud. ( don't ask how I know)

Your e350 van must be a rare 4x4 rig. You drive alot? Vague? I see so many road aligators in Texas its not funny. Texas and I don't mix. We are here again and broken down in several ways. Other than that, the tires are holding up after 1000 miles lol.

It's worth noting that the Falken Rocky Mountain ATs discussed here, have a 3 ply sidewall in all LT sizes (285, 315, etc.) in addition to their 50K warranty. Seems to make it a competitive tire to the BFG AT (the "other" AT with a 3 ply sidewall) with better water evacuation, better mileage warranty, better price than the BFG, for those of us that actually need the tougher sidewall. In addition, the tread pattern of the Falken is similar to the Firestone Destination AT, currently rated #1 in the tirerack.com survey of ATs. I was very happy with the performance of the Destinations, even though I only got 40K out of them. (I tend to shed tires sooner, due to my need for traction on my snowy, steep dirt road.) This, coupled with the 3 ply sidewalls and superior price to the Destinations make this Falken likely to be my next tire, after the current set of Yoko ATs are rubbed off.

I too have the 285/75s and they are great. the rig had some cooper or other on it stock, but these have been great, beach sand, gravel, rough Texas ranch "roads". I'm super pleased. No snow yet, but then, I live in Texas.

I bought them on a whim when I picked up a nail en route to Padre. Serendipity.

Anyone have pictures of the 305's on an 80?

don't know how this is possible but with my tires up at 60psi I'm back to 9+mpg in my coach. I see how thats possible, but I just got 15mpg in the rig as well.

Its not as smooth a ride as down at 35-40psi, but I like the gas mileage for sure.

I have a set of these on the wife's 4Runner, and haven't had them off road at all, but I have driven them in heavy snow, and they are not as good as the BFG AT I've had on the 4Runner in the past.

Huuumm.. My Son's Jeep XJ has BFG ATs on them I think the Falkens beat them in every respect. To each his own I guess.

Just got a set of these tires today, in 285/75/16 size. I have stock suspension. The tires are really quiet, as quiet as my bridgestone dueler h/t, at least for now! for $170 per tire, I'm pretty happy with them!

cheers,
Joel
