Yummy...

We need a "like" button here..

The only thing I can add, is keep in mind water does funny stuff going 60mph in a driving rain....don't underestimate good weatherstripping.

Good point... Even though I'm in San Diego and I may roll into an occasional drizzle. I'm torn between good weatherstripping or good drainage. :D As long as I spread the 150 LBS of calking evenly through the build it should be OK... right?

Very top notch! Watch for not only water, but dust. Nothing worse than a layer of grit on everything.

Thanks for sharing your creation. I enjoy watching it come together.

Thanks for the good advice. It's kinda of fun building something completely different. It diffidently isn't for everyone but it should fill my needs for what I want it for. Im starting to dream about actually using it now... That is a bad sign. LOL

So where you at with this? Your other thread about couplers convinced me to switch my utility to pintle hitch, way tougher! By the speed of build last month, I would think this would be almost done now,

With out going into details, We caught a business competitor linking my pics on google and bing to their website. Even my sign on the building! Took about a week to sort that mess out and get the attorneys involved. Then I had to get busy on a little Deuce roadster and make some $$$$. lol Hope to get back on it in a week or two. It goes fast when I can actually work on it! Thanks for the thread reply and reminding me to get busy again. Going Lobster hooping tonight so another short day and long evening not working on the trailer. LOL

You got me thinking here... Inside the trailer is the only thing that is critical that I keep clean and dry and that off shouldn't be an issue as its all weather proofed. The little swing out kitchen area should be kept dry and clean and now I'm wondering how I can seal off? Rtv all the sheet metal joints inside would be a good start and I'm guessing I will need to fit the swing outs with some sort of door seal? Any ideas? Universal peel and stick foam or something like that?

I'm thinking a good grade 'bulb' type seal that will be soft enough to conform to some minor irregularities? Automotive body shop suppliers will have top of the line stuff (mostly because I worry about the adhesive failing)

It might affect the design of your openings, but you would want the same sort of rubber bulb seal that is around the door of your vehicle. Dust can cake everything in no time!

Some of the Australian trailers even have a fan built inside the trailer to pressurize the interior to keep the dust out.

Go to 1:20 in and it talks about seals and the pressurized fan.

Good thought... Ive been researching solar systems and a positive pressure fan shouldnt be an issue at all. Thanks for the heads up... Knowing me I would of found out about a fan after I was done. LOL Thanks again

I havent given up on this thing! Ive been ultra busy trying to keep everyone else happy with their projects... I hate it when work gets in the way of my fun time. Also having a hard time with this site since it was redesigned. Uber slow for me. So I went out and got a different computer and guess what... still slower than slow!. This is the only forum on my long list of forums any where close to being this slow. I will be posting only when I have a bunch of time or I can find the secrete speeding up the Mud some how?

Glad to see you are still with it. FYI I have an older pc laptop, and am in hotels of varying quality. I find MUD is the same more or less. I find
the photo links annoying and slow, cause it seems to load all the photos of the thread up instead of just one. I do fairly regular system cleaning
though, to keep the bugs and virus' at bay. I don't know if this helps. Looking forward to your build.

And I thought it was just me and my old computer!!!!!

I've got a lot of projects on the Slow Track too.

As time and money allow they eventually get finished, so I understand.

A whole month without an update...unacceptable!

I figured you'd be picking out curtain colors and filling the cooler by now....any progress?

Thanks for asking...
Well I had to go get a new to me Yamaha YZ450f to make sure it fits. It fits nice BTW! As a result of this thread I have been busy helping other members get their trailers modified. All this while Repairing compressors and computers (2 in 2 months) that have blown up, launching a new web site and add campaign for the business... Soon my friend, very soon,
I need the diversion in the worst way.
