I bought a set of these for my 96, I am going through and replacing bushings a few at a time, my question is do I need to make these longer? I have a 2.5-3" OME suspension lift.

So basically I need to extend the stock ones I just bought? should it be the same amount that the truck is lifted? Figured I would just cut of the shaft weld a longer one in its place.? sound reasonable?

Yes, the tube and hardware needs to be longer.

Stock: 5" bolt/2.5" tube
2-2.5": 6" bolt/3.5" tube
3.5-4": 7" bolt/4.5" tube

~roughly :D

Thanks for the website, that cleared it up for me, I've been scouring the internet for all the different bushings and sway bar links, mine are all trashed, I recently installed TJM castor correction rubber bushings and it made a significant difference in the way it drives, so now im on a mission to improve the rest of the $u$pen$ion....LOL
