So, I bought a VW Vanagon in Valdosta, GA which is right on the FL/GA state line. I would like to go get it between now and May. I live in N Idaho close to the WA border. I will be towing an empty open trailer with 4 foot steel sides to get it, and am looking for ways to defray the fuel. If you need to move something large in that direction, we may be able to work something out. The bed is 16 feet long and over 6 wide. Last time I did this, I went through St Louis and Atlanta outbound and Dallas and Denver on the way home.
I will have room on the way back for something like tires, bumpers, or even things that need weather protection by putting them inside the Van.
