It's just a common cabinet shelf support peg, available at most hardware or big box home improvement stores. If the round diameter is too small you could probably get away with roughing it up and using some JBWeld to glue it in place

the other option would be to take a piece of round stock thick enough to fit in the hole and hammer one end flat on an anvil or the back of a vice
 
If my soler solution fails me, then I probably will. It's just inconvenient because I need to leave the handle in-place in my struck during the install with the cable connected.

If I do pursue this, I may wait until I decide to repair my bailing wire fix on the cable.
 
I just upgraded my 86 4runner with a 94 4runner Emergency Brake complete using the Handle and front cable sytem all from the 94. Had to drill hole in firewall/floor area by accelerator pedal to make it work.
Its great!

Did it bolt right up? I'm assuming the hole was for the cable? Got any pics??? :cheers:
