will a 78 Electronic Distrobutor fit in my 77 w/o any modifications. This is called the small cap dist. Just trying to figure the best option. Mels kit, or a new distributor.

Check cruiserparts.net for the toyota electronic ignition, fits all f motors. $200 used. Easy install like others have already said. It's toyota, nothing else to be said. Glen

my jacobs seems to work fine for me although the guy who wired it up didnt do the hottest job but it works great its a full CDI ignition..........you should check into that!
