Recently I have noticed that my battery gauge and the PWR light blink when I am sitting at a light using my turn signals. Could it be the battery or is the alternator going on me?

You can have the battery and alternator tested at most parts stores.

Seconds after posting this an employee of Oreilly walked in, I was telling him the issue I was having and he said it is most likely the alternator.

My son had the battery tested on his truck at orileys, during that test they said they could test the diodes in the alternator. Before you go replacing your alternator, blow out the coils with an air compressor. Sometimes that's all that is wrong, dust built up in the alternator.

Sometimes it is as simple as a bad battery cable or crimp connection. A good voltmeter and a few minutes can point you in the right direction.
