Just installed this to correct the geometry of the panhard after you lift the suspension. About $90 for the laser cut bracket. Pretty easy install.

It's definitely noticeable on the potholed roads of ATL :D
 
You really want it to be parallel to the ground as much as possible. Adjustable links don't do that.
 
Looking to buy a correction kit for my fj80... do i need a correction kit or adjustable panhard bars just with 2 inch lift?.... why is better this type of bracket than bars?

I’ve been looking at these a lot lately. Wondering what your experience was with welding it in? Is the forward side of the mount easily accessible for welding?

Yeah, if you take the wheel off, you should be able to get in there. After tacking it up in a few spots, I think I started on the inside though.

@eimkeith just installed mine tonight after ordering from you about 6 months ago 😂. Noticeable improvement on my short drive after install. Do you recommend middle hole or top hole for BP51 lift?
Whatever gets it more parallel to the axle/ground.
 
Well this is no fault of the Eimkeith bracket, but I broke the OEM bracket recently. Looks like stress fatigue and not an acute event broke this. . .

Got home yesterday and backed my truck up to the garage for shade so I could trace some suspension squeaks I've had since the last outing in KY. On my back in the driveway and I put my feet under the floor of the cargo area and start pushing to get the suspension moving. I hear the new sound and start putting my hand on linkage and shocks, etc. to track it down. I grab the panhard bar and push on it and it moves! I put more force on it and the bracket on the axle is completely separated from the axle! WTF?! Found the squeak! It didn't break where I added the Eimkeith bracket, it broke at the bottom of the OEM bracket.

I got the broken bracket off the end of the panhard and clean it up with wire wheel and cut off disc. Did the same for the axle bracket and then proceed to weld it back up. Got it done and didn't burn up the wheel speed sensor wire or brake line 🤣 Hit it with some Krylon and called it good.

Glad you caught that!

I've seen this once before - in that situation, it was due to little (none, actually) penetration on the back side - the installer just didn't weld where it was more difficult to access. Easily repaired, as in this situation.

One thing to check, though, is for overhead contact (in a situation where the factory frame bumps are still being used) - if that's happening, there's enough material on the spine of the PCK to slope the bumper side as needed to reduce/eliminate that contact.
