I've had the kit on for about a month now and I'm loving it. It rides really nice. This past weekend I raised the front coils by five rounds on the spring collar which resulted around 3/4-1" of lift on the super accurate tape measure/eyeball combo. I have 17x9 -38 offset wheels with 285/70/17 BFG's and I was still getting some rubbing at full lock on the pinch welds and the body mount. With the +5 rounds on the collar my rubbing is gone on the street, I will definitely have some rubbing on the pinch welds and body mount if I take it on the trails. I've chopped the body mount quite a bit and ultimately I will need to just have a body mount relocation done. I've also cut and hammered the piss out of the pinch welds but I guess I need to get a bigger hammer and send it. With this offset wheel/tire combo I feel like I'm having to do everything that people say they have to do to clear 35's... I might crank another couple rounds in it and see what I get, it still has a little bit of rake on flat ground.

The suspension really has been my favorite upgrade so far. It rides like a lifted vehicle around town, it feels a little top heavy as in there is a little more body roll than stock when taking slow turns but at speed this thing is a dream and out on the highway it is smooth as glass. Over bumps and rougher roads it still feels planted and soaks the harshness up really well. I can't wait to get this thing out on some trails and really put it through it's paces.

I would absolutely recommend this kit to anyone. You will not be disappointed for a ~$1200 kit. ( I was quoted close to that just to replace the stock rear airbags...)

I have the pro one set up already and been thinking about upgrading to these. What did you think of them and why selling them? Just curious!

Hello everyone,

I am excited to join this community and wanted to quickly chime in and contribute. I have a 07' GX470 and love it. Slowly working the mods and of course, the suspension / lift is a hard one to pull the trigger on... making the decision that is... after many many, hours, days and weeks of research. @Tanner H ; thank you for the expertise and your YT video.

Because of this post and the many discussions; I decided to go with the Eibach Stage 1 Lift Kit + Air Bag deletes. Amazing. Hands down rides better than the tired OEM struts/shocks and air bags I was running. Didn't even realized how worn they got until the new suspension was installed. I have it set at the 2nd perch, also did the LCAs, new strut mounts, caster bolts and the dash pocket replacement. Sits noticeably higher and rides richer in travel and float.

I'm currently running stock OEM wheels with 265/65r17 tires. I'm going to ask this anyway, but any consensus on what size (how big) I can run without any major chopping?

Light off-roading, mostly paved roads. Daily driver.
Would it be 255/75r17, 285/70r17 (i think Tanner H has these) or stay conservative with 275/70r17 or 265/70r17.... ?

Thank you for having me here and I am excited to be a part of this wonderful community!

I've had this kit installed for about 18 months (same as yours on position 2 up front) and I've been very happy with the 265/70r17 BFG KO2s for fire roads and light wheeling. That size keeps really good road manners and fuel economy. I like that my truck looks just slightly modified and is very safe and comfortable on the highway while being just fine off road. I had 31's on my old XJ Cherokee and my '91 Toyota 4x4 pickup as well and never felt they were too small.

I have had this setup since August 2021 and they are amazing! I am about to install a Warn 10,000lb hidden winch set up with LFD mount on the front bumper. Anyone suggest swapping for beefier front suspension or would you think the Eibach setup can handle the additional weight?

I've had mine about the same time, and also love it...I'd call tech for Eibach, my bet is they will say it's not optimized for that kind of additional weight in the front.
Totally understandable too.

Solid advice! I just spoke with them and they said it is capable of handling the additional weight but was originally designed for the stock bumper. The 2.0 coilovers are designed for a full bumper and they are coming out with rear shocks w/reservoirs shortly as well. I think I might just switch over to the stage 2 up front and rear shocks when they are available.

Installed the Eibach Pro Lift (stage 1) last weekend and it is a nice upgrade over the stock suspension. Also replaced UCA with Freedom Offroad and new sway bar end links. Previously felt like driving a boat, the Eibach lift feels better in cornering and stiffer with less float. Set the front end at the 2nd perch and it still has a slight factory rake. Added TRD wheels and Falken 285/70/17 Wildpeak ATW3 tires, with some front fender rubbing. Will move it forward/trim. Overall love the lift and tire combo. Paid $1100 and my son and I did the installation.

I’ve had that same lift kit for 2 years now with no problems. I have had it twisted up and through places the scared the crap out of me! No leaks, no noises and rides great.
Awesome lift kit for the price.

It's a great kit. I've had mine for about two years as well. I'm getting a clank on hard bumps from the driver front. I thought it was LCAs so I replaced them along with the sway bar end links, bushings and outer tie rod ends. Still getting the clunk, so it's either the coilover (unlikely) or the SPC UCAs.

The kit rides great but it does soften up quite a bit. Feels like stock and is very comfortable/manageable on light trails.

Installed the 2.0 with the pre assembled settings in the front. I want to level it to match the rears. Any of you guys know how much to adjust? I notice the front driver side sits about half inch lower than the passenger side.
I did it “the hard way” by trial and error. I needed more lift to level closer to the rear and also to eliminate the side to side lean. I adjusted, drove and measured many times. Eventually I figured out I could make small adjustments without removing the wheels and tires 😎.
