It took me about 4 hours total. That’s including assembling the fronts and installing Firestone air bag helpers in the back.

That’s good to know as the shop I almost ordered from wanted to charge me for six hours and that’s with the fronts already assembled:( I’d give this a shot myself but I don’t have the space to do out.

Actually easy kit to install overall. Came with instructions . Even shows you which fuses to pull. Having a second set of hands will help installing the rear springs.

I live in an apartment/ condo complex where this kind of work isn’t allowed. It’ll offend the Bentley SUV guys next to me;)

I just ordered mine today so I'm right behind you, albeit with fewer miles (148K).

Opened up my big red package today! If anyone wanted measurements, I’d say the front pro-truck 2.0 coilovers are about 21 3/4” from the top hat to the center of the LCA mounting hole. The rear shocks seem about 24.5” measured in a similar way (though I’m not sure if that’s the correct way to measure either shock haha)

Got my Stage 2 kit installed Friday and hit the trails on Saturday! I’m so impressed! The ride is just as good as stock I’d say but the body control is greatly improved. Of course this is all compared to my non-KDSS ancient blown-out suspension haha. I didn’t touch the adjustments before installing and got 3” lift in front and 2” rear. Looks great to me! The rear springs feel maybe a touch stiff but this is with a completely empty truck except for the third row seats installed.
I was just as impressed off road too! Even running at highway PSI on my tires, there was no harshness. I could feel some top-out on rebound but only if I hit big bumps in an abusive way.
If anyone is considering it, I’d highly suggest this kit. Especially if you do some limited searching, you’ll find it for under $1k and be just as thrilled as me!

Thank you for this. Mine is coming in on Wednesday but I have it set to standard 2.0 in the front and 2.2 in the back. Did you get UCA’s for your 3” front lift?

I didn’t get UCAs. And really I didn’t set it to 3” but like you plan to do, kept it at the standard 2” lift Eibach delivered it with. It was just that the old front suspension was sagging an inch or so before I started haha. In effect, 3” gained from my original start position but probably just 2” from original factory height.
As for the UCAs, I don’t think they’re necessary from this kit. In Eibach’s description, they say it’s designed to use the stock UCA. Alignment also still went smoothly and the truck tracks perfectly on the highway and when washing up after the trail fun, I couldn’t see any evidence of the UCA touching the coils even after lifting the wheels several times on the trail.

Ah, makes sense then. I’ve read that, in general, it’s advised to add UCA’s if the lift is 2.5” over stock but that’s assuming no sag before upgrading I’m sure:) My stock suspension sits on its ass even after just 40 minutes of parking and while I could just swap out the bags I’m just want to get this over with once and for all. Thanks for the review. I’ll be sure to give my .02 as well.

Got the stage 2 kit installed last night. Pretty straightforward and easy to install. Removing the stock suspension, particularly the air system was the hardest part. So far, really impressed with the quality of everything for what I paid for it. I still have some trimming to do but in the initial lap around the neighborhood the ride felt very nice.

Some things I would have liked to have seen in the instructions/documentation are torque values for all the hardware, and some information about relative lift height with the collar adjustment on the front coilovers. I know front end weight can alter that but even if it was based on a stock vehicle it would give you a ball park idea.

Also, just some more information for whatever it's worth. The Eibach rear springs won't accept the 4runner style rear coil isolator / internal spring bump stop that comes with most other coil conversion kits. The top coil on the spring is wound tighter so the isolator will not sit flush with the top of the spring. I bought some separately wanting to have that but I'll have to wait until I upgrade to a long travel rear setup to use them.

Initial impressions, great kit. Would definitely purchase again.

Approximately how long did it take you to install it?

I would say to remove the stock suspension and install the new suspension was probably around 5-6 hours. I took it all apart on Friday, thinking it was going to be delivered Saturday but it didn't get here until yesterday so I finished installing everything after work last night. I spent probably an additional hour and a half removing the entire air system which isn't necessary but I had extra time as I was waiting for the kit to show up.

I would say the hardest part of installing it was getting the rear spring adapters bolted in. The instructions say to bolt in both adapters and then install the spring. This makes it hard to get the spring in over the lower adapter. I actually installed the upper adapter, put the spring in and then installed the lower adapter with the spring in so that everything was lined up as there is a little slop in the holes that you bolt the adapters through. Once you have the spring and adapters in place then tighten both upper and lower adapters down. A little tip, I have a long magnet that was supper helpful here to hold the nut and washer in place while getting the adapter bolt started. Not much room to get your hands in there and the axle tube is round so nothing wants to stay in place. A $10 harbor freight magnet could easily save you 30-45 minutes in this step alone.

Thank you for this.

So got my own Eibach kit installed, the V 2.0 with the front coilovers. Initial impressions are good. Coming from the original setup this is a solid upgrade. Granted, my original air system would deflate after being in the store for ten minutes and then other times it would be fine overnight but the latter was becoming more and more rare with time. My bags seemed to be fine so it was an air line or maybe the compressor itself that developed a leak.

First, the stance. I kept the setup as it was from the factory with no requests for adjustments before it was shipped out. It's the standard 2" in front and 2.2" in back and I like the way it looks. To be honest, while I do see the difference in height, it does make me wonder if I'd like a 3" lift better, but I"m not a hard core off roader and I may be perfectly happy with it once I get rock sliders on to free up more space underneath. I'm not unhappy with it now, just wondering if I'd be happier with a bit more height.

The ride itself is nice. I can definitely feel that it doesn't handle like a sail boat any longer. Around some turns that I have used to gauge my setup in the past, it definitely has less body roll; significantly less. The area that has improved but not as much as body roll is front end diving during hard braking. Not sure what that's about but it's still better than before. I may have had unrealistic hopes in that regard but it is what it is. Road performance is excellent, again, compared to my stock setup at 147,000 miles. Some have said it feels more "planted". I agree, as that is the perfect descriptive. There are some speed bumps on a particular road that I've come to know by feel and my rig takes them at speed MUCH better. The body doesn't seem to rise and fall as aggressively as it did a few days ago and when I go over small pot holes I don't feel it in my bones. With the old system I was changing between Sport and Comfort modes and all points in between to test the differences as a reminder before I made the switch to this system and the Eibach is consistently better over all of the uneven road surfaces I've gotten used to. Even in front of my home where my street is in grave of repaving, the experience with the jarring and jolting is much more tame.

I'll be taking my rig up into the mountains this Sunday and will be on many miles of fire service roads so I'll be sure to document my thoughts about how it performs. Thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences.

Posting because this is an ‘Eibach Pro Truck kit review’ thread. I had the kit installed a week ago and it is fantastic. I used the 2” setting up front and installed SPC uppers for good measure. I beat it up over the weekend in Joshua Tree and it was tons of fun. Rides better than stock (165k miles) and has won over my wife who was skeptical about lifting the family car. Now she‘s driving it more than ‘her’ CT-200h F Sport!!

Tanner was super helpful for me as well when ordering the kit. Inexpensive, Great ride and Made in USA.

Would you mind sharing the tire size on your GX? Seems like you were able to fit the spare in the stock location... I'm trying to find the max size for that specific model. Thanks!
