I live in an apartment/ condo complex where this kind of work isn’t allowed. It’ll offend the Bentley SUV guys next to meActually easy kit to install overall. Came with instructions . Even shows you which fuses to pull. Having a second set of hands will help installing the rear springs.
Thank you for this. Mine is coming in on Wednesday but I have it set to standard 2.0 in the front and 2.2 in the back. Did you get UCA’s for your 3” front lift?Got my Stage 2 kit installed Friday and hit the trails on Saturday! I’m so impressed! The ride is just as good as stock I’d say but the body control is greatly improved. Of course this is all compared to my non-KDSS ancient blown-out suspension haha. I didn’t touch the adjustments before installing and got 3” lift in front and 2” rear. Looks great to me! The rear springs feel maybe a touch stiff but this is with a completely empty truck except for the third row seats installed.
I was just as impressed off road too! Even running at highway PSI on my tires, there was no harshness. I could feel some top-out on rebound but only if I hit big bumps in an abusive way.
If anyone is considering it, I’d highly suggest this kit. Especially if you do some limited searching, you’ll find it for under $1k and be just as thrilled as me!View attachment 3062268
I didn’t get UCAs. And really I didn’t set it to 3” but like you plan to do, kept it at the standard 2” lift Eibach delivered it with. It was just that the old front suspension was sagging an inch or so before I started haha. In effect, 3” gained from my original start position but probably just 2” from original factory height.Thank you for this. Ah, makes sense then. I’ve read that, in general, it’s advised to add UCA’s if the lift is 2.5” over stock but that’s assuming no sag before upgrading I’m sureI didn’t get UCAs. As for the UCAs, I don’t think they’re necessary from this kit. In Eibach’s description, they say it’s designed to use the stock UCA. Alignment also still went smoothly and the truck tracks perfectly on the highway and when washing up after the trail fun, I couldn’t see any evidence of the UCA touching the coils even after lifting the wheels several times on the trail.

Just ordered mine on Friday from here for $1150Just curious where you ended up shopping it at? Been lokkkng for the same kit for my GX460 and haven’t seen it under $1200
I ordered mine from Vivid Racing. A quick look on their website doesn’t seem to show a GX460 kit for stage 2 but you might want to give it a second look.Just curious where you ended up shopping it at? Been lokkkng for the same kit for my GX460 and haven’t seen it under $1200
Approximately how long did it take you to install it?Got the stage 2 kit installed last night. Pretty straightforward and easy to install. Removing the stock suspension, particularly the air system was the hardest part. So far, really impressed with the quality of everything for what I paid for it. I still have some trimming to do but in the initial lap around the neighborhood the ride felt very nice.
Some things I would have liked to have seen in the instructions/documentation are torque values for all the hardware, and some information about relative lift height with the collar adjustment on the front coilovers. I know front end weight can alter that but even if it was based on a stock vehicle it would give you a ball park idea.
Also, just some more information for whatever it's worth. The Eibach rear springs won't accept the 4runner style rear coil isolator / internal spring bump stop that comes with most other coil conversion kits. The top coil on the spring is wound tighter so the isolator will not sit flush with the top of the spring. I bought some separately wanting to have that but I'll have to wait until I upgrade to a long travel rear setup to use them.
Initial impressions, great kit. Would definitely purchase again.
I would say to remove the stock suspension and install the new suspension was probably around 5-6 hours. I took it all apart on Friday, thinking it was going to be delivered Saturday but it didn't get here until yesterday so I finished installing everything after work last night. I spent probably an additional hour and a half removing the entire air system which isn't necessary but I had extra time as I was waiting for the kit to show up.Approximately how long did it take you to install it?
Would you mind sharing the tire size on your GX? Seems like you were able to fit the spare in the stock location... I'm trying to find the max size for that specific model. Thanks!Posting because this is an ‘Eibach Pro Truck kit review’ thread. I had the kit installed a week ago and it is fantastic. I used the 2” setting up front and installed SPC uppers for good measure. I beat it up over the weekend in Joshua Tree and it was tons of fun. Rides better than stock (165k miles) and has won over my wife who was skeptical about lifting the family car. Now she‘s driving it more than ‘her’ CT-200h F Sport!!
Tanner was super helpful for me as well when ordering the kit. Inexpensive, Great ride and Made in USA.
