Where did you find the gate panel that doesn't require drilling ? I really don't want to drill holes in my '78 either.

If I get some "Black denim vinyl" locally, can I ship it to Eshan? How much fabric would I need to send?

Or can he get the denim style vinyl? Maybe it's common.

To ensure everyone has an adequate paper trail, I request a personal check.

Once I receive your check, I will publicly post here as well as email you a confirmation of receipt.

Upon clearing of all funds, I will initiate the wire transfer to Ehsan. I will post all details and email everyone a confirmation that I have done so.

Also, will everyone email me at cking@vtaig.com with the following information:
Date you mailed payment
Full name, shipping address and phone number.

This will make it easier for us to communicate throughout the process.

We will do the same thing when it comes time to pay the freight. When Ehsan has everything completed and boxed we should be able to get a pretty accurate estimate of the shipping (to port) charge. Since this may take a while and fuel costs are volitile, this seems like the best arrangement to me.

Tax time wasn't as nice as I had hoped, but I'd like to get in too.
I have a 70 FJ40 w/ small barn doors and want a Khaki canvas soft top with all hardware/bows and rear quarter windows; steel half doors w/locks and soft uppers and black interior panel.

this pic is as far as i know OD Green

This truck is OD Green not khaki....khaki is a tan...unless its us military od number 7 ...i think that was the number that usmc used for a khaki looking od green...but thats way to green for khaki.

The Khaki is tan (not green), similar to this:

Ehsan is trying to source a more durable black canvas, as of yet he hasn't, so the black canvas orders are in limbo.

According to him, the corrosion of the hardware has been addressed.

Paypal will work, just don't use paypal off a credit card as I will be subject to a 3% fee on the order...

that canvas is far better looking than mine...mine is more of a true military styling and color.

LOL! Thanks for the clarification. I know Khaki is tan, but I thought that was tan from the picture.

military Khaki actually starts out a yellowinsh color and turns a tan over time, like prolonged exposer to the desert sun...it will turn a bit quicker.
