Interesting, I like the throttle response and shifting on my 8/11/23 production date '23 so much I want to put a lock on the OBDII plug so they don't touch it. No problems with shifting or rolling acceleration. I like the Sport mode for Houston highway traffic holding gears for the occasional jumps to light speed or pulling out from a dead stop at full throttle. I do feel the acceleration stabilize as it passes 2.5k-ish RPM but I imagine the ECU is torque limiting to safe the drivetrain. Daughters are learning to drive, one of them prefers Eco mode for less sensitive throttle response.

Heck I am in Houston let me drive it! Mine is horrible.

I am coincidentally teaching someone to drive and she said the car feels Jittery to her. I never complained about it to her.

Mine is a 24 so it mostly suffers the lag at rolling stop vs any significant transmission downshift/jerky behavior.
Worked much better after having the Lexus dealer so a re-learn on the transmission.
Lasted approx 500-600 miles and reverted..
Disconnected the battery for 30 min and it’s better again.

Spoke to the technician who said that Lexus is still working on a fix, they are very concerned primarily since it affects GX550 too (many of the buyers are new to Toyota/Lexus which was a goal for this platform).

I’ll update once a fix is hound but do recommend an occasional battery disconnect.

And the lag at a rolling stop gets worse, its now delay/kicking me as low as 2mph. Seems like some corporate discipline is very sorely needed at Toyota/Lexus. The effective gear ratio is 2.19 in 2nd gear.

I have a programmer waiting and ready to go. Guess I will use this BS as an excuse if they want to void my warranty. Definitely getting 5-30 oil into it asap.

Reported the acceleration delay and erratic delayed acceleration at speeds as low as 2mph via email to the NHTSA.
