OK. I have scanned the bracket and created an AutoCad drawing of it from the scan. I can email the DWG or DXF file to you. This is the file that the CNC folks need to waterjet the part. Let me know where to send this.
Fox, The later buckets might be available from the dealer but the earlier ones are definatly not.
It's be nice to have the early brackets that with the smaller light (fj25, bib style light) mounting autocad as well. I have a set. Or if you guys can remember just give me a blank set or a blank with the mounting holes drilled
These guys seem to be on the brackets, I can try and find someone to do the buckets
I called my local dealership yesterday and he couldn't order anything for a model before 69.

I'm in for two sets. I bet if we shop this around we can get 20 sets easy. I would say that we contribute $50 for each set to a kitty and when the $$ are right we pull the trigger. That way nobody is out and $$.
I bet Mark A. would purchase a few sets to stash away.
if you want to use a brand new toyota never installed bracket, i've got it.
are'nt they the same left and right?
Thanks alot for your offer but I should have a set in hand today or tomorrow courtesy of Blake (crushr ). He donated them for the good of the Land Cruiser community and wouldn't let me pay him for them. Thanks again Blake. rgentry also sent a nice cad drawing that I'll bring with the brackets that should be the icing on the cake. Thanks again for the offer and the others that have chipped in to help out. Thats what makes this forum so great. I would have paid any price 10 years ago to have all this help and knowledge when I did my first frame off.![]()
Larry,
I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to call you but I spoke to Stephen this pm and he thinks that we can knock these out in no time. If you have a pic of the original example (sorry, I'm a '79 kinda guy) and the Autocad file, send it my way.
We can bring the original when you get it in.

bump...
preliminary we need to produce 15-20 sets to make the bucket molds. very preliminary cost would be ~$40 a pair ($20ea).
Unless we get more people or one of the vendors wants to buy the rest of the 14 sets to sell later I don't see it happening. Unfortunalty I can't lay out $600+ right now.
I would definately be in for a pair of the buckets as well.
I think whatever my cruiser had when I got it was wrong, someone want to post up what all this looks like installed..
